Recorded in January/Febuary at Music Room Studios in Brooklyn, Prayin' For Rain is Frank Schiazza's venture into soul music and lush, orchestral ballardy.

"I was listening heavily to all those great blue-eyed soul records of the early 70's, like Gregg Allman's Laid Back and Van Morrisons St. Dominic's Preview, and I began to write a bunch of songs of my own," he said. "All of a sudden, you have a record."
