FrankSchiazza.net is the musical domain of Frank Schiazza, a Brooklyn-born songwriter/guitarist/singer that's been in pursuit of his craft for the better part of two decades. Although he is extremely ecclectic in the music he listens to and creates, Frank is most at home performing roots music; the sort of country/blues/folk/soul/rock hybrid that used to the rule the airwaves of yesteryear. An old soul in the truest sense, Frank has played in countless bands and written hundreds of songs, many of which are linked on this site. Feel free to navigate the site and enjoy the music... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "I've been involved in music for over 15 years and have come across a lot of musicians in the process and I can honestly say, Frank is the most talented artist I know. Frank is a virtuoso on the guitar but, even though he can play guitar with the best of them, he never allows it to get in the way of the song itself. I've had the pleasure to sit in Frank's home studio and listen to him play acoustic guitar and sing many of his songs throughout the years. Something which strikes me about Frank is the quantity of quality music he continues to release day to day, stretching a vast array of musical genres. But more compelling is the passion Frank has for music. This is the most endearing quality about the music he creates. To me, that's the difference between someone who is a musician and an artist. Frank is an artist in the purest sense of the word." Daniel McQuade, singer/songwriter ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Frank, Stix, Ace and I jammed in "the basement" back in the early-90's. Through the years of jamming, bickering and having fun, Frank's abilities blew me away. He picked up playing the guitar with such ease I must say I was jealous, amazed, and lucky to witness it. With all the music he's written through the years and how accomplished he's become as a producer/collabarator, it really doesn't surprise me. Frank's work with Daniel McQuade and Tracy Eisenberg has been incredible and truly shown his depth. I always have great anticipation waiting to hear his newest song, or his new take on an old one."
