The Rock NYC Live & Recorded Album Review of Frank Schiazza's Following Through

Iman Lababedi and the good people over at Rock NYC Live & Recorded recently reviewed Frank Schiazza's newest album, Following Through.

Said the vaunted NYC publication: "Join the cult: Frank Schiazza is deep into a career that, in a different era, would have him a staple on FM Radio... The hits just keep coming on this album. "Lovelight" sounds like Steely Dan; "Like You're Watching Me," a perfect piano ballad, is Elton John meets Gregg Allman, with a lovely saxophone... Schiazza is a real talent and it is an indictment of the music business that it is so hard to place him in the mainstream. Still, as long as the Brooklyn native remains a cult fave, make it a cult you belong to."

FrankSchiazza.net is the musical domain of Frank Schiazza, a Brooklyn-born songwriter/guitarist/singer that's been in pursuit of his craft for the better part of two decades. Although ecclectic in the music he creates, Frank is most at home performing roots music: the sort of blues/folk/soul/country/rock hybrid that used to the rule the airwaves of yesteryear. An old soul in the truest sense, Frank has played in countless bands and written hundreds of songs, many of which are linked on this site. Feel free to navigate the site and enjoy the music...
